By around the year 12,000, he believes communication skills and emotional abilities such as love, sympathy, trust and respect will have diminished, eroding the abilities of humans to perform in teams. The increased eating of processed foods will mean humans do less chewing, leading to less developed jaws. ...

Dr Curry predicts that 100,000 years from now mankind will be divided into two distinct sub-species with a genetic elite moving in ever more exclusive circles.

The genetic upper class will be increasingly tall, thin, clean, healthy and creative, while the genetic underclass will be short, stocky, asymmetrical, grubby, unhealthy and less intelligent."

is this a description of "evolution" or "adaptation"? is "adaption" just a self-comforting word used by those who refuse to believe in evolution? (eg: me, because i refuse to believe that humans used to be apes)

i kinda hate to admit it, but some of this stuff does seem to be logical..except for the less developed jaws part cos i don't think people will ever stop eating cos people are too greedy and food is just too good to be given up by the general population.. anyway, after years and years, there's gona be lots and lots and lots of inter-racial marriages and eventually there will no longer be distinct races and all our genes will be mussed up enough and there will be just one race.. hmmm..

interesting interesting..we'll see in 100 thousand years from now.
