There's a certain smugness that you feel when you breeze onto the bus after bookout. pass the card-reader which greets you politely with a BEEP and at the same time graciously deducting the maximum fare from your adult ez-link card, while other after you find that lo and behold their ez-link cards have surpassed their use-by date and are now frantically digging into their pockets for loose change, thereby forming a huge jam at the card reader. However, that feeling evaporates when its realised with a groan that the bus is going to ages to depart. On why i didn't tell everyone to get new cards: How was i to know they didn't know. bleah.
