The Google Machine
Google is perhaps the most popular and powerful search engine.Founded in 1998 by Sergey Brin and Larry Page, with one million dollars initial investment from friends, family and other investors (including one of the founders of Sun Microsystems), Google is currently one of the few internet businesses reporting a profit. The name is derived from Googol, which is the figure 1 followed by 100 zeroes.
