teenagers in 2014 are going to reminisce about heeleys the way we reminisce about tamagotchies n ring pops today..wonder what are kids in 2014 gonna reminisce about in 2024?

btw.. i think building a casino in sentosa to boost singapore's economy is such a bad bad idea... if the govt actually passes it... oh gee i really dont know what to think of them anymore .. will more tourists really be attracted to visit singapore just because of a casino? if they really travelled abroad to gamble.. singapore definitely still wont be their top choice as there are so many other much much more well known gambling cities in other parts of the world. furthermore, is the number of tourists really going to be able to sustain the casino anyway? consider the social implications of building a casino. building one will inevitable lead to more locals gambling. is the government encouraging gambling? when families go to sentosa for family outings.. i can just imagine 1 or 2 family members slipping away to the casino while the rest go to the underwater world or something.. worst still.. adults forgoing time spent with their kids to go to the casino.. how many will burn their hands in the casino? how many will fall into sin? its negative implications far outweigh any possible benefits... its not an option imo ..
